General Information on Mandarin Rocks
The language school Mandarin Rocks was founded in Shanghai, China in 2001. MandarinRocks Chinese Language School occupies three floors of an elegant, classic Shanghai style villa conveniently located in the heart of Shanghai, easily accessible by subway or bus. Nanjing Rd (China's most famous shopping street), People Square (where Shanghai Municipal Government is located), historic Jing’an temple (largest temple downtown), City Sculpture Park (largest park downtown), Tongren Rd (popular bar area where pubs, cafes, restaurants and lively nightlife are well known throughout Shanghai) are all within only a few minutes walking distance.

| Study-Internship program combines Chinese language learning with work experience in Chinese or multinational companies operating in China. It provides an opportunity for students to enhance Chinese skills in real life working environment and enable them to gain insights of Chinese business and society. There are two parts to the program: a minimum of four-week intensive Chinese language course and four to twelve weeks of internship experience. Most of the internships are in the Business Development, Research, Human Resources or Marketing departments of various industries. The internships (4 to 12 weeks) are not paid. | HSK was created for students seeking admission to colleges and universities in China. It is designed to demonstrate Chinese proficiency for academic purposes. It is the only mandarin proficiency test recognized by Chinese government. HSK Preparation Course enables basic to advanced students to improve their test performance. Students take four lessons every day to study the grammar, vocabulary, listening comprehension, and reading skills necessary to score well on the test.
