Location: Mandarin Rocks is located in the breathtakingly diverse and dynamic city of Shanghai, in China. From its fantastic skyscrapers to its diverse nightlife and Michelin starred restaurants, Shanghai is unique unto itself. Mandarin Rocks is conveniently located in the heart of Shanghai, in the vibrant Jing'an District, in an elegant, classic Shanghai-style townhouse, tucked away in a quiet alley. Many bars, shopping malls and The Jing'an Temple are all within a few minutes walk of the school, ensuring students have all they need to create memorable moments, whilst achieving their language goals.

Course selection: Course selection with Mandarin Rocks is excellent and offers something suitable for students of all levels. Courses include General Chinese, available in groups or privately, HSK Preparation, Business, and a Summer Camp for Junior students which takes place during the summer months. All main courses can be taken in a group or privately.

Accommodation: Accommodation in Private Studios or Shared Apartments is available through the school.

School facilities: The facilities of Mandarin Rocks Shanghai are ample, including a garden, courtyard and balcony, lounge area, free WIFI and a student support desk for any questions or queries. All classrooms are equipped with electronic whiteboards, heating, air conditioning and have ample natural light to create the optimal learning environment.

The location is very good, many restaurants, cafes, shops in the area. The atmosphere at the school is very cozy and friendly. The lessons were instructive and interesting (at intermediate level). The teachers had a real enthusiasm for teaching. Small class size gave everyone an opportunity to interact and practice. Staff offered very useful travel assistance.
Insider tips about what future students should not miss the neighboring cities of Hang Zhou and Su Zhou are worth visiting if you have time.

    A visit to Shanghai is also the ideal opportunity to explore all that China has to offer as it is easy and convenient to go anywhere like Hangzhou, Nanjing, Beijing, Xi’an, Hong Kong from Shanghai.
