General Information on Cuzco
Cuzco was the capital of the INCA empire from its beginning in the 14th century until the Spanish conquest in 1533. Being a big tourist attraction, the city is known for its Inca ruins and Spanish colonial architecture. Situated at an altitude of 3,416 m (11,207 ft) in a broad valley of the Andes, it is the busy hub of a thickly populated agricultural region where sheep are raised and cereals and tobacco are grown.

The language school Máximo Nivel was founded in Cuzco, Peru in 2003. The school is located on Cuzco's main commercial strip, just 3 blocks from the historic Plaza de Armas, and right across the street from Q'oricancha; the Inca Temple of the Sun.
Facilities
The school is located in a modern office building. There are 20 classrooms, a library, and computers with high-speed Internet connections. Each morning there is free coffee and tea available.
