10 Spanish for Tourism language courses Spain

This course is made for students with an A2 level and higher. The course has two parts, a first one (25 hours per with) in groups of no more than 10 students where they will work the general tasks of the Spanish language according to their levels. In the second part, one hour of tuition in a group with a maximum of 5 students, the aim is to provide the basic communicative tools to get along with situation related to a wide range of touristic services: hotels and accommodations, restoration, tourist information offices and services, travel agencies, holiday planner websites, administrative complains. Among its contents we will work mainly on the communicative functions, formal structures and vocabulary needed to interact in the aforementioned fields, both from the clients and professionals points of view.

It includes the Intensive 20 course plus 10 individual lessons of Spanish for Tourism per week. Optional: Madrid Chamber of Commerce Exam at the end of the course. In order to prepare for the exam, a 4 week course is recommended. Exam fee not included.This Spanish course is designed for students wishing to learn Spanish with a focus on tourism. The student combines a Spanish Course Intensive 20 with 2 private classes per day of Spanish for Tourism. If you are working (or would like to work) for a travel agency, tour operator, hotel, congress organiser or any other sector of the tourism industry, then this programme is for you! Escuela Montalbán is accredited by the Madrid Chamber of Commerce. The school will prepare you for the examination to obtain the Madrid Chamber of Commerce Certificate in Tourism ("Certificado Básico", "Certificado Superior"). Students are able to participate in a final examination to obtain these certificates.

If the course has 2 lessons per day: the student will obtain the total contracted lessons, even if he/she is the only participant, regardless of their level.This Spanish course is drawn up for professionals in the tourism sector, for people who would like to focus their professional career in this field or for those who wish to improve their Spanish in this sector. All the skills are covered in the course: - Listening. - Oral expression and interaction. - Reading comprehension. - Written expression and interaction. The content of this course is oriented to the exams for the Official Certificate of Tourism Spanish (Certificado Básico de Español del Turismo; Certificado Superior de Español del Turismo), carried out by the Madrid Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the University of Alcalá. The school is one of the Official Examining Centres for this exam.

This course is for students who, due to their academic studies or professional careers, need to acquire communication skills in the tourism sector.this course is designed for students with a certain level of Spanish who, due to their academic studies or professional careers need to acquire communication skills in the tourism sector for specific situations (commercial mail, travel agencies, tourist guides, concierge, rates, restaurants, lodgings). The students have the opportunity of setting the syllabus in which they are most interested. The Spanish for Tourism Purposes course runs Monday through Friday from 9:00 to 14:30 and is divided into three parts: Theory, Practice and private lessons "One-to-One Spanish for tourism" The theory part concentrates on the grammatical aspects of the language. After imparting new concepts the students do practice exercises in order to assimilate them. In the practice class the students learn and put into practice, in real or simulated situations, how to effectively communicate in Spanish. This part of the course stresses the acquisition of new vocabulary, using readings, tapings, videos and press articles. It also offers the possibility of gaining fluency in expressing oneself through debates, representations, etc. Both parts are taught by different professors, so that students get used to different accents and styles of teaching. All the classes take part in small groups so the learning rate is quite fast. The teaching staff always uses the 'communicative' method of language teaching. The teachers encourage students to develop conversational skills and self-confidence, rather than asking them to chant verb conjugations or spend silent hours perusing lists of prepositions.
