3 Teacher Training Courses in Uruguay

This course includes 10 one to one lessons plus 8 observation lessons plus 8 practical lessons and 4 hours of feedback from the teachers per week.The Teacher Certificate offered by La Herradura Language Academy is backed by 20 years of experience. Our objective is to provide grammatical and didactic tools so that the professional feels more confident carrying out their teaching work and has an effective performance in the classroom from the first day. This certificate is aimed at future professionals teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language as well as teaching professionals who wish to update and broaden their knowledge. PROGRAMME 1. 10 hours designated for: class with the teacher/ to develop grammar content. 2. 10 hours designated to: Observation of classes taught by the Institution's professors to other Spanish students. 3. Preparation and presentation of individual or team class. 4. Final evaluation in group. Goals -Reflect on the starting point of planning: the student body as a subject and the language as a learning object. -Provide grammatical and didactic tools so that the professional feels more secure exercising their teaching work. -Analyze the typical grammar errors of a student. Contents INTRODUCTION: Presentation of the organization and thematic sequence to teach Spanish as a Foreign Language. METHODOLOGY and EVALUATION The course will be developed in face-to-face mode. The learning objectives will be met gradually through theoretical sessions and practical applications of the contents. Our methodology is articulated in three axes, in active learning, collaborative learning and self-learning. - The preparation and presentation of the individual or team class will be evaluated. - The participation and the delivery of the works proposed by the professors will be evaluated. - A certificate will be delivered supporting their development during the course and recording/s of classes.
