Antibes ratings & reviews

What our students said about Antibes

A very attractive seaside location with a charming old town. However, the view is sometimes obstructed by huge yachts, and the vast tracts of land at Cap Antibes are privately owned and therefore off-limits to the public. Unfortunately, the region isn’t particularly suitable for cycling either.

4.0Stefan Germany

Very beautiful, manageable, cosy, great old town, good public transport, good connections also to Grasse, Cannes, Nice and Monaco. Unfortunately Antibes is very expensive in summer, it is extremely hot and the narrow beaches are completely full.

4.0Sabine Germany

It's an attractive town with an interesting history, a picturesque old part of town, a town beach and other beaches nearby, plenty of shops and it is convenient for public transport to other places in the area.

4.0Leslie Italy

I think it is magnificent and a great location to stay and tour the Côte d'Azur. It is a perfect place with culture, nature and safety. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to visit the south of France.

4.0Cristina Spain

Lively town, full of shops and restaurants, with sandy beaches and close to other tourist sites such as Nice and Cannes. Easy mobility with buses and trains. However, it is a rather expensive city.

4.0Javier Spain

I like Antibes a lot. Small, well laid out, everything within walking distance. Good shopping facilities. Many small stands (I like that). Many restaurants.

4.0Eva Switzerland

Wonderful! I was very pleasantly surprised by Antibes and immediately fell in love with the city and its surroundings. There is a lot to see and discover.

4.0Sabrina Germany

Great city ~ we went to Juan Les Pins via bus ~ visited the Picasso museum, shopped the city and enjoyed all the restaurants.

5.0Roberta Elaine

Very pleasant, manageable town with good restaurants and extremely friendly people. A lightness that can be enjoyed.

5.0Barbara Austria

Beautiful city on the Côte d'Azur - directly on the sea, very beautiful & great climate/weather

The teachers (I had four in the adult program) were very good—some were outstanding—and were always motivating and empathetic. Success in learning is (almost) guaranteed. I had a lot of fun. The school’s location (for adults, right by the harbor, at the second campus) was very pleasant. The high-quality technical equipment (smartboards) is also worth mentioning.
Great team.

Information about Antibes

Why Antibes? Antibes/Juan les Pins is a single commune of 70.000 inhabitants and the second largest town on the Cote d`Azur after Nice and just ahead of Cannes. To the East, living within its rampart, Antibes represents the Mediterranean tradition and the history of the Cote d`Azur. To the West, Juan-les-Pins is calm and tranquil except for the three month season, when its beaches and night scene come back to life.

Q&A - Questions about French courses and schools in Antibes

I would like to do a language course with my children aged 13 and 15 in August. Are there different locations for the language school in Antibes or are we taught in the same building?
The lessons would not take place at the same school for the father and the sons. The sons would be at Campus Horticole (1285 Avenue Jules Grec, Antibes) and the father would take the lessons at school Le Chateau (28 avenue du Château, Antibes) or at Le Port school (38 boulevard d’Aguillon, Antibes)

The evaluations by students after they complete a course is excellent. The discount for using your website is also a great incentive. It also would be wonderful if the website would include more cities and a bigger selection of schools in each city.

The service of languagecourse.net is great, I booked already 3 schools and I can highly recommend it. In fact, I tell everybody I meet on my journey in South America about this website and how well everything is organized.
Gabriele Ragger verified client
I am very satisfied. I found more/relevant information on your webpage than on the school's website itself. It is the cheapest offer. I'm going to book my next course on your site soon.

Just keep up the good work. The organization is excellent, so that even less experienced travellers would feel ok to come to China. I also felt really good in the host family, they were really great!
