The location is great. There are shopping facilities nearby for the lunch break. The teachers are very nice and committed.
The equipment is rather poor, the rooms are in need of renovation. There was no copy paper at all, everything via teams: be sure to bring your laptop/tablet, with a mobile phone it was a disaster.

Course: Intensive Programme - 1 week
Student age: 58 years
The teachers are fantastic, professional, responsive to the needs of the students. All the staff care about the students. There was a good atmosphere in the school. I loved that you didn't have to buy a book, we learned online and through other documents. There was a lot of conversation during the lessons.
I felt comfortable the whole time.

Professional, lessons very varied, small group about 8-10 people, good communication and the possibility to book private lessons as well, which I found very valuable; 1x 2h per week.
It is on the other side of the bridge. About a 25-minute walk but you can also take a tram.

thanks to the skilled and qualified professors, I was able to improve my french skills. Also, the students are highly motivated and we don't speak our mother language, which is also really nice.

Enthusiastic and driven. Sympathetic people.
Cheers to Emmanuelle. Professional and patient. And she knows exactly where it is missing. She hears everything. I was amazed at how she could immediately understand all the accents/dialects among students etc. Great teacher. Received good advice. Fast pace. Not a moment is boring. I would do it again.
Host family Marc and Marion are also very friendly, helpful, attentive and involved. Fun people.

Q&A - Questions and answers about Bordeaux
- Will you receive a recognised certificate at the end of the course?“At the end of the courses, you always receive a certificate of attendance. An official certificate sounds more like a DELF or DALF certificate, but you have to take an exam for that too and we recommend exam preparation for that. Is that what you are looking for? It depends entirely on what you need it for. If you need a DELF or DALF certificate (usually employers specify this themselves), let me know and I will look for you. ”Robin Rebecca Pietersma, LanguageCourse.Net - Jul 31, 2023I am looking for a language course in Bordeaux for 14 year old students. Are there any options for starting the course from mid-August?“Newdeal's junior programmes for 12-15 year old students run from mid-July to early August. Exact course dates can be found on the website. Students aged 16 and over will be accepted for the group programmes from mid-August.
I would like to introduce you to a programme where teenagers are always welcome, because it's right at the teacher's home with private lessons! The Home Tuition French course is organised by the Influent programme.
