Buenos Aires ratings & opinions
How our students rated their experience in Buenos Aires
What our students said about Buenos Aires
The city offers everything of a big city and is a highlight due to its location, history and culture and also a starting point to other sights (Iguazu, Patagonia, ...). The metro system offers many fast connections within an otherwise chronically jammed city that, like many cities, struggles with traffic problems. The friendliness of the inhabitants is roughly comparable to Berlin, although many people in BA have to deal with the economic situation and therefore have other worries. If you need information, however, Buenos Aires scores well ahead of Berlin. The language course at InterBA prepares you for an easier interaction in BA (manners, peculiarities in BA and practical things like ordering a taxi, best connections from the airports, differences in language and pronunciation in Argentina compared to other countries in Latin America, ...). This facilitated communication and orientation in the city.

Most recent student reviews of language schools in Buenos Aires
We had the perfect teacher in Guadolope. Her methods were varied and the lessons flew by. The excursion to La Boca was very interesting, but difficult for beginners. Dedicated management of the school.

What I liked best about the school is that Spanish is spoken directly and explained in a playful way. The afternoon activities make it easy to make new contacts.

I am Hagen Javier from the USA. In 6 weeks I not only learned how to speak Spanish very well, I learned how to formulate my sentences correctly to build upon my time around Spanish speakers. Very well organized, and the excursions every week are a great way to know the city and to know other people. I was the only student in my class since I came in the middle of winter, but the quality of learning was very high.
Thank you for everything Lumi and Maria also.

Nice teachers. The one I had was good and patient. Had a plan, while also handling things we were wondering about. The principal was helpful when we wanted help with the activities we wanted to do in the afternoon. Also got invited to a gathering out on the town the last day of the course. It was a very pleasant evening.
Positive about everything, but the bathroom was unwelcoming and somewhat unhygienic. Needed renovation and a change of towels every day, preferably it should be paper towels.

Course: Regular Course - 1 week

The teachers were really good, but so was the building and the atmosphere.
30 October 2018
Course: Intensive Course - 2 weeks
Student age: 49 years
The lessons were very good! Small classes and very easy to understand language. The students were directly involved and everything was clearly explained. There was homework which was discussed directly.
The accommodation was not good! Indeed lovely and well located, but no working heating (very cold!). The other roommates had nothing to do with the school, i.e. you had little contact with other classmates, which was actually the purpose of the shared apartment! Scruffy apartment, moldy fridge. Not worth it. At least for the price!

FAQ about schools in Buenos Aires
- Will the course be taught in English so that I can understand even if I am a beginner in Spanish?“All courses are immersion courses and will be taught in Spanish even on beginner level, as this is proven to be the most efficient way to teach the language. The structure in the beginners courses is adapted to students with limited or no knowledge of the language and the schools are experienced in teaching Spanish to beginners. In some cases English might be used as a help, but in general all instruction is in Spanish and it is not a requirement that students speak English in order to participate in the course. ”Louise Granath, Area Manager from LanguageCourse.Net - Oct 18, 2022I am interested in booking evening lessons in Buenos Aires.
