5 Learn French & Cooking in Paris

General French (16 lessons, A2 to B2) plus 2 sessions of 2 or 3 hours cooking per week. Not available in August.Do you wish to study French and cook like a chef? This program allows the students to improve their French and learn the secrets of French cuisine with a real chef! The students discover new flavors and recipes while practising the French language in a relaxed atmosphere, which facilitates oral communication. COOKING WORKSHOPS: The cooking or baking workshops are provided by a long-time partner. The students enjoy 2 sessions of 2 or 3 hours per week. Cooking classes are organized according to the students’ French classes and can take place in the morning, afternoon, evening (until 22:30) or on weekends. The schedule will be sent at the latest two weeks before the cooking lessons (be careful: the schedule of the cooking workshops is likely to be modified by our partner).

Standard 20 course plus 3 afternoon cooking lessons per week (6 hours per week). The students will have classes in the morning every single day (General 20 course) + 3 times per week a 2 hours introduction to French cuisine in the afternoon (15:30 to 17:30). In general the cooking workshop runs from Monday to Wednesday. The workshop will be given by a Cook. There is only one hob and the chef will show the students how to prepare the dishes, will explain a little bit about the history of the plates and by the end of the sessions the students will have a tasting of the dishes together in a convivial atmosphere The aim of this course is to combine French with the gastronomic culture of the country and make discover the students the main basis of the French cooking. The dishes will be the most typical French recipes: Quiches, crêpes, Blanquette de veau, Boeuf Bourguignon...This course will provide an insight to French culture and culinary traditions and enhance your cooking skills: - French tuition: 20 lessons p/wk, - 3 afternoon cooking lessons p/wk (6 hrs/wk), - Course duration: 2 wks, - Minimum Language Level: Pre-intermediate.
