What our students said about Santiago

Santiago is strategically located very well: you can be either by the sea or in the Andes in 1.5/2 hours. There are lots of great parks and free museums. Personally, I had no problems regarding security. Of course I had few valuables with me. As a woman, I didn't feel any more unsafe than in Germany.

5.0Anne Germany

As a traveller, you always have to be mindful and but if you follow basic rules such as not going out at night by yourself in certain areas and keep your phone in your purse, you are good to go. Also, this applies to every place in Central/South America

5.0Carla Chile

There’s lots to do and go to. The public transport system is outstanding, and cheap. It’s easy to find your way around as the streets are well signposted, and the place is built on a rectangular grid. Google maps helps too!

5.0Terence Australia

With a healthy dose of caution as you move through less safe neighborhoods, you can quickly feel at home in Santiago. Providencia in particular is a showcase district, with the Barrio Italia as a wonderful nightlife area.

5.0Bennet Germany

Very lively, the bank holiday is a special highlight, impressive how the Chileans celebrate, good public transport, many excursion possibilities, caution is advised, do not wear important personal things visibly.

5.0Margot Germany

Santiago is a nice city with a lot of things to do. The smog was surprising and obscured the amazing views some of the days. After being in Peru, I found the people of Santiago not very friendly.

5.0Laurie

I felt safe during my stay. There were lots of interesting things to see in the city. The public transportation system is super efficient.

5.0Roberta Canada

I liked it! I would visit again in the spring or fall as summer is too hot for me. And I'd like to see the river with more water in it.

5.0Mary Canada

A large, modern city with many beautiful buildings. I liked it but it was not for me « love at first sight » as Buenos Aires was.

4.0Bernard Canada

It's a little harder for non-Spanish speakers when you first arrive. But once you know places, it becomes a very nice city.

Violeta Parra Escuela de Idiomas - TANDEM

Loved José as a teacher. I appreciated that we didn't break into groups or pairs and work with each other but rather that he taught us the whole time. He was clear and fun. I learned a lot about the rules behind the grammar and finally understood certain concepts that I had struggled with.
Wonderful experience!

Escuela Bellavista

The lessons are a lot of fun as the teachers teach with a lot of passion. As early as the second day, you feel a pleasant sense of familiarity. I would also definitely recommend staying with a host family, as you will notice immense progress in your Spanish in a very short time.
The perfect start to a trip to South America!

I am looking to take a week of Spanish while in Santiago and I would like it to be conversational. I am interested in a small group with 2-4 people or a private instructor.

The evaluations by students after they complete a course is excellent. The discount for using your website is also a great incentive. It also would be wonderful if the website would include more cities and a bigger selection of schools in each city.

The service of languagecourse.net is great, I booked already 3 schools and I can highly recommend it. In fact, I tell everybody I meet on my journey in South America about this website and how well everything is organized.
Gabriele Ragger verified client
I am very satisfied. I found more/relevant information on your webpage than on the school's website itself. It is the cheapest offer. I'm going to book my next course on your site soon.

Your service was excellent, really following up and holding my hand.! My older step-brother used your service a few years ago to study Spanish in Salamanca and Granada and we found LanguageCourse.Net so helpful then as well.

Just keep up the good work. The organization is excellent, so that even less experienced travellers would feel ok to come to China. I also felt really good in the host family, they were really great!
