If you only are going for a few weeks, be aware that you will be entering a class that has already been in progress, with students who may or may not have been there for awhile. It didn't cause any problems, the teachers were very accommodating if they were in the middle of a unit when I arrived.

The staff were friendly and helpful; class was a lot of fun (of course a bit overwhelming at first) and my teacher did a great job making us feel at ease and encouraging us. I was able to obtain an OPUS card (bus) at the student pricing thanks to the student card BLI provided. The "5 a 7"s were a great time and opportunity to meet fellow students in a relaxed atmosphere outside of the school and also a good opportunity to practice the French we

Other comments
I chose an intensive week-long private programme and there was a little confusion at the beginning (I was put in a group). I think this type of learning process may be a bit unusual and if/when I return, I would do things a bit differently - i.e. I would be a bit more direct (possibly in advance) about my goals. Overall, it was a good experience.

Ask for a homestay within 3km of the school. Some students live an hour away by bus, making it difficult to get home after a late night out.
Other comments
The classrooms are small for the number of students. Also the classes are often full in the summer time. You also don't know whether your class is in the morning or in afternoon until the previous Friday. This makes planning your week a bit difficult. Besides that, it's a great school, I had lot of fun, and can't wait to return!

Additional information
Positive aspects of school
They mold the classes to fit the immediate needs of the attending students, and the teachers are very knowledgeable and personable.
Negative aspects
The class schedule schedule changed weekly, so you wouldn't know until Monday whether or not you had a class at 8 a.m. or 1 p.m.

"La fête de l'été" (the summer music festival which has hosted artists like Manu Chao and les Ritas Mitsuoko, in the past).
Other comments
I was tremendously happy with my choice of going to Bouchereau. It was centrally located, the teachers were delightful, there were many fantastic international students (most of the students were from Switzerland and Colombia... that was sort of weird), and the host family that I was allotted to live with, couldn't have been more perfectly selected to suit my personality. Thanks a bunch!
