Accommodation
My room was not prepared. It looked like it was not mentioned that I would stay in the apartment since they already prepared the room for someone when I was still in (the took all my belongings out of my room the day before I left). So I just got a key and that was it... Also I would have preferred to stay with no Dutch students and I would prefer roommates who are more or less my age. Now I stayed with people from around 18 which is a big age difference since I am 27.

I will return.. Salamanca or one of Enforex's other locations. One little criticism. The first day we were given our text book. We were told that inside the first page we would find a code which would enable us to access useful information which we could work on when we were back home. I have not been able to make this work. When I was asked for my e mail address I used my personal address but was told that this e-mail was already taken. But it is taken by me. If you could shed any light on this kindly notify me.

I think that it would have been better to have had a smaller group. Ours was 11 for a week and then 10 for three weeks. I realize that 10 is the advertised maximum, but I felt that it slowed progress down quite a lot. There also only seemed to be weekend day trips organised by the school available, but not much else in the way of social or cultural activities.

The teachers are open and ready to help you and try to understand what you are trying to say. The classes with about 10 students where you could talk forever and you could create a very interactive lesson.
Insider tips about what future students should not miss
Don't be afraid to make mistakes in grammar or pronunciation, it's normal, especially for the beginners, not be able to do it perfectly
Other comments
A pleasant experience. Good organization of classes and very sociable families. The only negative thing is that they don't put enough emphasis in the activities organized, especially in the midweek.

Please specify more clearly that in the student residence you can't access to the kitchen, the dinners are offered in a time slot of 45 minutes, that a deposit of 150 euros in cash must be paid and that one must not be shocked if the welcoming is very poor but it does not prevent that at the end of the stay we have enjoyed and forgotten this detail. It is necessary to warn beginners that there is not a beginner class every week .. And for the groups of 8 to 10 max. I found myself in a group of 13 for 1 week..

Insider tips about what future students should not miss
This school is not suitable for short term stays or Bildungsurlaub. The course material and the teaching method is designed for long term students.
Other comments
I have done several courses at different schools in Spain. Unfortunately, I have to say this is the worst school, especially for Bildungsurlaub. They have their own course book and the teacher use only with the book and they do not have their own method. There were no chances to speak, just grammar. They do not give the material to short term students and I had to make my own photocopies and not at the school but private, paying myself, of course. I have not learnt anything new and I never want to go back to this school.

I liked the method of teaching very much... the teachers encouraged us to speak and the grammar was used to back it all up.
Other comments
I was lucky to be in classes with 4-7 students which gave it all a cool and intimate environment. Though at the end of September the amount of students decreased very much which made it more difficult to find a group that suited my level, but either way I was very happy with what I learned.

It took 20 minutes at a brisk walking pace and 25-30 minutes with a normal pace to go to school from my host family. My accommodation was located more far than other students. However, as the host family was kind and friendly, I could stay very comfortably. Due to the fun environment of a class, I could improve the language only for two weeks much more than I expected. It's safe and inexpensive in Salamanca and I want to go back there sometime.

If you are an absolute beginner, you should learn the basical skills first. After you have done this, the language school in salamanca is a really good place to become better. By the way, the teachers recommend a work book, you have to buy it (about 12 € but not for sure) but it`s worth it.
