You need to try to find friends from other countries and practice the language with them. And also speak only English in class.

A wonderful city, suitable for teenagers who come to learn the language.

It's cool that when you go to study English, there are not only lessons at school, but also a variety of activities which also help you learn the language.

The evaluation of the quality of the education would have been better, if there had not been a substitute teacher that took over part of the lessons. This teacher was not suitable to teach adults.

I loved the fact that teachers were always available and they not only loved to teach you the language and show you their culture but they were also interested in learning about yours.Classmates were really sociable and friendly.
Insider tips about what future students should not miss
Considering that I was very fine with the host family, according to me people should really know the real distance between school and host family. I was told that the house was a few minutes from the school but every day I had to do about 50 minutes travel between the bus and walking.
Other comments
Some local schools were dirty, such as restaurant and bar .. sometimes the reading room was dirty too. I pointed out at the school in the questionnaire that the school will supply at the end of the course.

Positive aspects of school
Teachers tend to be nice.
Negative aspects
The value for money is harmful. Progress in the early levels is slow and tiring. There is no unanimity among teachers regarding the objectives. The study of the different tenses and sentence construction are conspicuous by their absence. Since management does not focus on education from a pragmatic point of view, a very few aspects of the language are taught in each lesson, and the little that is taught is often irrelevant. A private school like this one in Spain (so expensive and "prestigious") would have no students.

I insisted that I knew more English than I actually did because I was too proud to admit that I didn't. I ended up in level 4 without a problem, but did not learn any English. The teachers should not have let me proceed to the next level just because I wanted it.

I'm very happy that I did an English course in Bournemouth. First, because the school and second, because the school...
I've made a lot of friends... Try to be social, try to go out with other students, don't be alone, it isn't good to stay only in the family... Thanks.
