What our students said about Los Angeles
Los Angeles is definitely a beautiful city with a fantastic climate and plenty to see; people are generally kind and friendly. The problem is that it’s not very safe—for both guys and girls—and at night it’s definitely not safe to walk around alone or take public transportation. Plus, the city is extremely dirty.
In general, prices are on the high side. However, the locals were very open toward foreigners, and many people were willing to help. As a result, I had more opportunities to communicate in English than in other countries. The weather was also very pleasant, with minimal temperature fluctuations between day and night.
Although the cost of living is higher than in other cities, I really enjoyed the friendly atmosphere where you can strike up a conversation with people anywhere. It’s a place where people are generous and open-minded toward outsiders.

It's quite inconvenient to use the restroom, and I feel a little awkward having to ask for the key at the front desk every time I go.
