What our students said about Siena
A beautiful old city with many attractions, friendly and helpful people. I did not use public transport much and the geographical points were not important to me either.
A very beautiful, lively city with great cultural offerings, a cathedral, museums, concerts, some excellent restaurants, and a wonderful setting surrounded by nature.
It’s amazing - great food, very friendly, really interesting history, a perfect size and lots to see and do. Oh, and one of the most beautiful cities in the world!
A very nice little town with limited attractions. In July-August the weather is quite unbearably hot. Several interesting sights and the sea within 1-2 hours.
It is more lively that you could imagine for a city of this size. Probably because it is a very touristic and also a university city.
A proud, historically grown city. Very clean and safe. Wonderful art, fabulous architecture. A jewel. And not as crowded as Florence.
I would recommend Siena as a destination to anyone. Such a lovely place to be, hard to describe, but very special.
Like a tiny Florence but without the over-abundance of tourists. Beautiful little city and worth visiting.
Beautiful city. (But steep hills, which may be hard work for people with mobility issues.)
Siena is a great destination. We certainly knew it well after four weeks!
