Location: Enforex Cuzco partners with a school just three blocks from the main square of Cuzco's Plaza de Armas. Hailed as possibly the most magnificent plaza in all of Peru, you are in the right place in order to enjoy the city to its fullest. Around the plaza, you will find restaurants, eateries, cafes and tour operators for excursions, as well as the iconic Cusco Cathedral and Church La Compañia de Jesús.
Course structure: Enforex Cuzco offer courses to students of all levels for both General Spanish courses and their Volunteer Programme (General Spanish course + volunteer plan). They also offer accommodation in host families or Student residences which always come highly recommended.

“Friendly teachers, good infrastructure, free dance and cooking lessons once a week, perfect location in the city centre. Cusceños/as also learn English at the school, which creates a very intercultural environment. The school therefore also offers a tandem exchange, which is very useful for practising conversation.”
“The lessons are very grammar-focused and less conversation-focused than I had hoped for. Therefore, I definitely recommend taking part in the (free) Tandem programme.
The placement test is a joke and I was put in the wrong level. That's why I hardly learned anything for the first two (of 10) days. Fortunately, I was then able to change classes.”

Other comments: I loved my host family, and HIGHLY recommend them to future students. However, it was a large family, so I suggest the school should provide a list of names and pictures so the student can learn their names.

“Spanish classes run every week from Monday to Friday. On the first day of your program, you should arrive at 7:00 AM for orientation. As a part of the orientation, you receive a thorough placement test (written and spoken) to determine your Spanish level. After the placement exam, you are placed into your class accordingly and are provided with your schedule for the week. Morning classes are held between 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM, and afternoon classes are between 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM. The exact schedule is given to students on the first day. ”
