How our students rated their experience in Canterbury
What our students said about Canterbury
It's not a very big city, but every time you wander around you'll discover something new. There's so much fun things to do, except maybe for clubs or dancings, but that didn't bother us the slightest.
Belgium
I absolutely love this city! History is all around you! It's small and medieval, there are city walls and it feels like you are in a fairy-tale.

I've done the junior course before and really enjoyed it, so I wanted to come back. This time too it was a really great experience. Thank you to all of the people that made this happen! I'll definitely come back for more English courses. They're situated in the centre of Canterbury, so after class you can go wander around and explore Canterbury.

Course: General English 25 - 3 weeks
Student age: 21 years
The teachers were all great. Although the level of my first class was too easy for me (similar to the high school level), the school didn't change my class at first. The school reallocated me to another class after my third request. It seems that I wasted my time during taking the unmatched class. The school should offer a level check test(progress test) more often.

small group (10 students), no French in my group, mix of nationalities, 1:1 lessons with Paula were very profitable and made me progress a lot
A big problem regarding host family accomodation : I called the family the day before departure, and I discovered that she could not host me and that she had warned the school. Fortunately the person I contacted on the emergency number solved the pb. But it is a bad surprise the evening before departure. Especially as I was not as close to the school as before. Moreover the school's address was not good: I've discovered this upon arrival. The new family was very friendly and caring but the house was not clean
