Great choice. The Elba is beautiful with stunning bike paths through meadows and fields following the river. For folks who like to cycle, this is your city.

Kästner Kolleg

I enjoyed a lot my five weeks in Kästner Kolleg. I actually could improve my German language thanks the special attention from the staff and teachers as well. It was fantastic my interaction with my classmates from many countries around the world. I could feel that students have a good atmosphere to learn and have fun.

Student support was excellent. There is a friendly, supportive atmosphere. The staff, administrative and teaching, showed flexibility and responsiveness to make the learning experience as successful as possible. Both Katrin and Patricia are excellent teachers.
Very warm, personal environment. Not 'institutional' or business-dominated.

The lessons and the teacher were very good and the group was small. So you had to participate. There was also homework, which made the programme intensive.

I had a lot of fun learning German at Kästner Kolleg. The teachers are very involved and the classes are formed in small groups (5 on average per class). Do not hesitate any longer, this is the school you need to progress in German.

Quality and professionalism of the teaching. Moved me up to a higher class in order to put me in a smaller class so I would have more opportunity to speak, even if it might have been one level too high.
