Positive aspects of school
Nice teachers, well-organised school, located in the lively university district
Negative aspects
At least my classroom facing the street was very, very loud and very simply furnished
City/place
Very interesting, you can move around safely on your own, at least in the Zona Colonial. There are often good and cheap snacks at the street stalls.
Quality of teaching / language progress
Was OK, had better, but also worse

You can't say anything negative about the school. People are really authentic and welcoming. That can't be taken for granted. In my opinion, you can forget about Santo Domingo and the country.

I got into group where there was no new grammar for me. I would appreciate a little bit more of conversation exercises.

The Spanish school was great, all the speakers and other students very friendly. I acquired the basics that I lacked.
On the other hand, even if it was good, the dance school did not respect its commitment; indeed, I paid for 16 hours of lessons, and in fact I only had 13. November 4 was a holiday, there was no catch-up and on Thursday, November 14, classes took place only one hour. So I estimate that the reimbursement of 35.62 USD would be a minimum.

Positive aspects of school
Everyone who worked there was fun and friendly. The events were really good and we got to see a lot of Dominican Culture.
Other comments
One area I think they could work on better is making sure students are in the right level. I saw some people from a low level in the advanced class, and some who spoke very well in a beginner class.

Do not book accommodation with the school. There are many airbnbs, hotels and hostels nearby that are much cheaper.

great professor, ease of access, possibility to have lunch on site, security, private lessons and progress ... near the dance school, good welcoming at school, evenings at school very friendly, outings in the city less successful.
Insider tips about what future students should not miss
for dance: less structured courses, nevertheless nice welcoming and atmosphere .. I added 1 week of vacation in Las Terrenas and Bayahibe wich was great.
Other comments
clean and safe housing (a little too much!), lack of water sometimes (global in the neighborhood), somewhat isolated area in the evening.
