They excursion to the islands was disorganized and disappointing.

Additional information
Positive aspects of school
Friendly staff and professional teachers, location of school
Negative aspects
Since we were having private lessons, I think they should have spent more time up front with us asking what we wanted to achieve in the week and what areas of the Spanish we wanted to cover
City/place
Very fun place
Quality of teaching / language progress
As mentioned earlier, teacher should have asked us up front what areas of Spanish we wanted to cover rather than going through the sheets provided by school used for group lessons, since my son and I both had some Spanish knowledge. (School did do interview at the beginning that they do with all students). Our teachers was very professional and friendly and we made good progress. However our progress could have been more if her English was better so as to explain some language questions we had more e.g. when to use 'para' vs 'por'.

Positive aspects of school
The knowledge and implementations of teaching methods was very thoughtful. Clearly they take great pride in what they do, think carefully about who they are teaching and tailor the instruction to them. The conversation class was especially good. The teacher was excellent at choosing engaging topics and including everyone in the conversation. I have 32 years experience in teaching foreign languages and even I learned, in addition to improving my Spanish, some insight as to what I may implement into my own classes.
Insider tips about what future students should not miss
Don't be in a hurry to rush to the beach. There are so many things to see and do in the old town. The best part for me was living with a family and spending time with them. They truly value family and make sure you feel a part of theirs.
Other comments
The company is extremely helpful and their support and help doesn't stop when you leave. They check in while you are there to make sure things are going well

Insider tips about what future students should not miss
Bring your own text books, especially vocabulary.
Other comments
Not Enforex, but Neuva Lengua; very strong on verbs and verb structures; I found they were weak on vocabulary. Seemed to be an assumption that we all knew the vocab we would need, but that is not the case for many students
