The teachers are young and full of energy so the lessons are never boring. But I also loved the fact that the classrooms and the "Gästehaus" were in neighbouring buildings so there was no early-morning rush-hour public transport for the students staying there.

Insider tips about what future students should not miss My advice is that if you really want to learn the German language you have to give all of yourself, talk, study and always ask if you don't understand something. And above all leave the groups of your own nationality because you then will talk just your language and no German !!

Other comments I have been to two other schools in Germany and CDC is the best I've seen so far. They have two buildings to themselves (it is a 5 minute walk from the tram), the classrooms are good-sized with not too many students in each level. Also one building is the 'Guest House'. I stayed with a host family which was also great, but from what I gathered from friends who stayed in the 'Guest House' it is quite good with gender separation and showers on each floor, plus you are right there for class each day. The social program happened about once a week and they do a good job of letting you know about upcoming excursions.
