Passport requirements

All nationals require a valid passport.


Only excemption are nationals of the following countries who may also present an alternative document of identification instead of a passport: Brazil, Chile, Paraguay, Uruguay.

Who does not require a visa?
Nationals of the following countries do not require a visa when entering as a tourist:


Andorra, Australia, Austria, Barbados, Belgium, Bolivia, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Croatia, Denmark, Dominican Republic, East Timor, Ecuador, El Salvador, Finland, Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Grenada, Guatemala, Guyana, Haiti, Honduras, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malta, Mexico, Monaco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Nicaragua, North Korea, Norway, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Romania, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, San Marino, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Trinidad and Tobago, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States, Uruguay, Vatican City, Venezuela.


Note: Visa exemptions mentioned above are for tourist purposes only. Argentine minors travelling to or from Argentina, if unaccompanied by their parents, must carry their parents’ or other legal guardian’s authorisation to travel, which must be certified by an Argentine Consul if issued abroad.
