Passport requirements

All nationals require a valid passport.


Only excemption are nationals of the following countries who may also present an alternative document of identification instead of a passport: Argentina, Chile, Paraguay, Uruguay.


From date of entry required by all nationals.

Who does not require a visa?
Nationals of the following countries do not require a visa when entering as a tourist:


Andorra, Argentina, Austria, Barbados, Belgium, Bolivia, Bulgaria, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Denmark, Ecuador, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Malta, Mexico, Monaco, Morocco, Namibia, Netherlands, New Zealand, North Korea, Paraguay, Peru, Philippines, Romania, San Marino, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Suriname, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, The Bahamas, Trinidad and Tobago, Tunisia, Turkey, United Kingdom, Uruguay, Vatican City, Venezuela.


Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta and Slovak Republic do require a visa.

  • Valid passport with 1 full blank page
  • Return ticket
  • Evidence of sufficient funds for stay
  • Visa fee payment
  • Stamped, self-addressed envelope when postal application
  • Insurance

  • Tourist Visa: 90 days.

  • Tourist Visa: 21 EUR
Cost varies according to nationality. €37 for nationals of Australia; €42 for nationals of Canada; free, but €106 processing fee for nationals of the USA; € 52 for nationals of Japan and the Russian Federation.
