Australian Council for Private Education and Training
ACPET is a national industry association for independent providers of post-compulsory education and training, for Australian and international students. ACPET works pro-actively and co-operatively with government, education and training providers, industry and community organisations, in order to ensure that vocational, higher education and training services provide diverse, well-targeted, and appropriately delivered courses which are widely accessible and of high quality.

Guarantee if a School goes Bankrupt
In the case of bankruptcy of an organization, ACPET ensures that legal requirements are met. Private tertiary colleges are required to provide the names of 2 colleges who would undertake the delivery of promised services in case of closure of contracted supplier.

Complaint Procedure
Complaints should be made in writing and the organization is required to respond. Where agreement is not reached an independent arbitrator has been called in.
