Heidelberg is a beautiful historic city. It is home to the oldest university in Germany that is still recognized as one of the best universities in the world today. Its location also offers easy access to some of Germany's most coveted universities, reasearch centres and international companies located in the area.
Nestled in a valley, surrounded by forests and cliffs, this historic city in Germany was ranked the ninth most inspiring city to visit globally.
Most recent student reviews of language schools in Heidelberg
I took English and German courses. For me, my English lessons with Valeria were the best and had a great time. In general, the school pays attention to students and they are organized and have quick solutions if you have a question or problem. Also, Lots of culture together in the school. That was one of my favorite things.

This school isn't serious. When you have a problem, the administration listen but don't help you. You can't trust them. All is disorganized.
The school isn't XL, please update that.

The most wonderful thing about the school is the professionalism of the teachers. I am specifically talking about my professor, Patricia Balazikova. Not only is she very professional but also a very kind and friendly type of person. Every day she never failed to not only teach us, but to also make the teaching fun and enjoyable. The professor also gives Literature once a week which had a really positive impact on my Education.
This is a school with friendly staff and professional teachers who are always nice and helpful.

I liked the location, near the old town, shopping centers and a large bus station. The city of Heidelberg itself is also very interesting. I liked the host family too.
Good school in a beautiful city. They respond to all requests very quickly, including by e-mail.

Course: Intensive Course + Module Course - 4 weeks
Student age: 17 years
Apart from the classes, it is interesting the offer of cultural or leisure activities. Some might not seem so interesting at first, but it worth participating to get to know people and the city during the first days.
The courses don't really start on Monday as announced but new students are placed in long-term courses which have been going on for months. In my group, there were people who had been in that course up to a couple of months.
Also, possibly due to the summer period, the teachers changed several times. One for standard lessons, one purely for grammar and another for conversation. This is actually an advantage, because each teacher has a methodology and an accent and different aspects of the language are perceived.
