“A huge disappointment!!! I have done several courses abroad and always found myself everywhere very well. In particular in a course in Valencia last year in the Taronja school I had a great time!!!
However, I would like to point out to my great disappointment the poor quality of the Enforex school in Marbella. I am a teacher and know the teaching methods well. The teachers of this Enforex school are very young and inexperienced in teaching but above all they are not trained in teaching methodology.The lessons are face-to-face classes,the teachers talk and the students listen. The lessons are not interactive and are boring. There is no playful part, there are no fun activities, students do not talk in pairs or groups to practice the language. There are no activities where we get up,where students move around the classroom, no music is used, no laughing , no materials other than the book are used .
The interactive whiteboard is never used. These are very heavy lessons,boring and above all lacking in method.It is clear that the teachers in this school have not been properly trained as teachers. And I can say this with great certainty ,because I assure you that in the Taronja school in Valencia they had wonderful lessons where we had a lot of fun . Interactive lessons and with teachers with modern methods. They were lessons in which we played games, simulated situations (at the bar..at the restaurant...), work with papers, name tags, interviews, ball games, we would get up,move around the classroom, talk in pairs of 2, in groups of 3 or 4, and so on...
We students were always talking.In short it was a continuous learning , playing and having fun at the same time! Those like me who are teachers understand well what I am talking about!!!I am referring to using a communicative method.In Valencia in the Taronja school I had such a good time that I wanted to extend the course from 1 to 3 weeks,because of how much fun I had going to school!!In addition,every afternoon an activity was organized,weekend trips were organized!It was great to be there!I emphasize that being a school teacher myself,and having done methodology courses,I can speak competently on this subject.
So mine is not a criticism for its own sake,but a report.
I therefore at the Enforex school in Marbella took only one week's course and obviously did not want to continue.
I also point out the poor level of afternoon activities and total lack of weekend activities (there was only one meeting during the week in the afternoon that 3 people joined). In short, a school definitely not to be proposed to anyone.
The only positive note : the decent building,the downtown location, and the girl at the reception very nice and kind . Unfortunately not enough for people like me who are looking for quality.”

“The school's communication beforehand I had asked if there were 5 days of classes due to Easter weekend, this was confirmed. When I arrived the first day on Monday, I was told it was only 3 days because of Easter. As a result, I had far fewer hours of lessons.
Totally no explanation where one could e.g. drink something during breaks, there was no room or coffee machine in the school nothing at all was organised in terms of activities.”

“No one welcomes you as a student. No general information will be discussed with you. In addition, if you are ill you will simply lose your lessons instead of a compensation. Also, there were no group activities or excursions at all. You also get very little time for lunch. And everything is given in Spanish which is quite difficult to follow as a beginner. Reported several times but nothing was done. Requested to schedule private lessons, that never happened either. Basically I lost all my money. Had paid for 3 weeks and only been able to take 4 classes. Communication was also very bad about compensation etc. You are not really listened to. Wouldn't go here again.”

Health Insurance (mandatory for students under 18 and for Internship Programs):

  • EUR 25 per week: when visa is not needed.
  • EUR 15 per week: for students who need a visa (between 14 and 35 years old, with a minimum stay of 3 months).

    Changes:
  • Before arrival: Changes to your confirmed booking (start dates, program, or services) can be made up to 2 weeks before your arrival. Two changes is free of charge. After the 1st change, each change will be charged: EUR 150.

My daughter has a gluten allergy. Is it possible to serve gluten-free food at the summer camp with accommodation in residence and is there an extra cost?
“At the camp we do not charge extra for diets, but we do offer several options: vegetarian, gluten-free, dairy-free.

In addition, the dishes on offer include options suitable for Muslim students who do not eat pork.

The only option we do not specifically offer is a kosher menu, although students can choose from the menu dishes that are suitable for their diet.

In the case of allergies it is very important to have information and, in cases of severe allergies, a medical report. In these cases, children should bring the appropriate medication for possible reactions to provide to the camp staff.”

I am looking for a Spanish school in the Cabopino area (Marbella), where we can go together with our 10-year-old son in the summer. Without accommodation and only in the morning class.
“If your son just wants Spanish lessons without the activities, we could offer private lessons at the school where the parents will be too. The summer camp location and the school are too far away from each other to be able to combine the Junior Summer Camp Lessons Only course with an Intensive 20 Course for the parents at the school.

Your son could also join the day camp program (Mon-Fri 09:00-19:30), so during the day you can follow a course of your liking during those times and you have time to go and pick up your son after.”

The junior course does not take place in the city center. Is there a bus that goes directly from the center to the junior course location?
“The school organises a daily camp bus (Mon-Fri) for 2 weeks. This is optional for the day camp programs and mandatory for the homestay programs. There is a minimum of 6 students that should make use of this service for the school to offer this. Pick-up and drop-ff is at a specific bus stop. Enforex offers this service in Barcelona, Madrid, Malaga and Marbella.”
