Venue: LVC London School of English is located in the city of London, just to the south of the River Thames, about twelve minutes away from London Bridge by bus, or thirty minutes on foot. In the area surrounding the school students will find many shops and city parks, and, despite being outside of the centre core of the city, the school has good connections by public transport to most of London’s biggest attractions. Travel time to Trafalgar Square and Buckingham Palace is approximately half an hour while the Tate Modern and Saint Paul’s Cathedral are about twenty minutes away.
Getting around: Bus lines pass directly in front of the school for quick travel to the city centre. Also, the school is a 20-minute walk from the Elephant & Castle underground (Bakerloo, Northern) and train (Thameslink) stations, ensuring students have access to all the city has to offer as well as the surrounding areas. London Heathrow (LHR) and London Gatwick are the closest airports to the school and travel time by public transport is between 60 and 75 minutes.

Nationals from Canada do not require a visa to study short term courses up to 180 days. A valid passport and an ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization) is required to enter the UK. The application for the ETA is done online https://www.gov.uk/guidance/apply-for-an-electronic-travel-authorisation-eta. The answer is expected within 3 working days, costing GBP 16. The ETA allows multiple entries in the country for up to 6 months for a maximum of 2 years or until the passport used when applying expires.
