Nice atmosphere, great people and competent teachers. I highly recommend it, a balanced ratio of exercises in listening , speaking, writing and grammar. I recommend the intensive course 20h a week

Location near old town. Free feeling. Classroom interaction, active participation regardless of class level.

2 downsides: too bright light in classroom and much too warm.

Barcelona has the mix of everything: culture, sea/beach, warm climate. Highly recommended and my favorite :-)

Warmth, expertise and professionalism of all of the school’s staff. From the beginning through to the end, all communication was clear, timely, easy. Group and individual classes were excellent. After class excursions and events were fun and engaging. Highest recommendation!

Negative aspects

Only that my trip had to end. I would have liked to continue at WCB for at least one year!

I booked the semi-intensive course from 9am to 11am Monday to Friday even though I was only in Barcelona on vacation. I had a lot of Fun! The teacher was great, as were my classmates. We were of mixed ages, the youngest was 20, the average was 30-35, and I was by far the oldest. We were 7 or 8 people. They received me very warmly. If I ever take a city trip to Barcelona again, I will go straight to this school! If you can't do a whole week and you can only do 3 or 4 days, with this good price-performance ratio it doesn't matter if you miss 1 day. I will be back soon! One piece of advice, if you are not so young anymore, it is best to go outside of the holiday season.

The school is highly recommended for all age groups. Owner Milena has a very appreciative personal approach and took the time to accommodate me very well (course and shared flat). The 4 teachers I met are also very encouraging, super motivated and qualified. Learning Spanish was great fun in the relaxed atmosphere, also thanks to the versatile approach and learning material. Other plus points are the central location, close to the St. Antoni metro station and the market hall of the same name, and the fact that you were always welcome at a café in the common room, so that further meetings were possible, as well as the varied leisure activities.

It was beneficial to get to know different teachers and also to prepare for a language exam together. The whole group passed it.

Accommodation

It was a good fit and it was agreed to keep in touch. It was a relatively inexpensive accommodation with the added advantage that what was learned could be applied directly during the meetings.

The teachers were so friendly and took a lot of time to explain everything well. I quickly made friends among the students and the afternoon activities were a lot of fun. My host family was great!

Take part in all the leisure activities, it's a lot of fun! We went to play volleyball at the beach, the beach itself is beautiful and easy to be reached.

Everything went smoothly, friendly tone, very competent, accommodating handling and a very friendly teacher. I did not use the activities offered by the school and did not rate them.

Negative aspects

With the air conditioning running, I had a little more understanding problems ;-)
