Additional information
Positive aspects of school
The teacher was really great, the lessons were well adapted to our level, varied and fun.
Negative aspects
The organisation was quite chaotic, online it was said that you would be allocated through a test, which never existed.
City/place
I liked the town, there is everything you need. The ice cream parlour is great, the supermarkets are adequate and the locals are very friendly. However, I wouldn't recommend walking alone in the dark, because as a tourist you stand out a lot and that's not always positive.
Quality of teaching / language progress
Christelle is great, the course was really fun! I could definitely learn a lot!
Accommodation
I have already given my feedback that it is not clear enough in the booking process that you are NOT allowed to use the kitchen, so I would just like to note here that I shared a bathroom and did not get a towel, which I think was stated differently online. (I could have asked, but I didn't because I thought it would all be right). Martine and her family are great, the food was varied and delicious. However, I would only recommend the family to someone who is fit, because walking home for 30 minutes after school at 30 degrees and in the sun is definitely exhausting.

Christel, our teacher was super good. But the price-performance ratio is still not right. Laurence is very keen on money. She first offered me a studio, an hour's walk from the beach and the school. Don't believe what they tell you. She also rips you off on transfers back and forth from the airport. And you could always hear when someone was having lessons in the room next door. I enjoyed my holiday very much, but I wouldn't take this language school again. I know some people thought the same as me. It's overpriced for what you get.

Additional information
Positive aspects of school
We had really small groups (2 to max 5 students) and the teachers were all very very good. Absolutely recommendable!
Negative aspects
Unfortunately, there were no activities offered by the school at all at the time. But when asked, our teacher took the initiative and the students organised themselves.
City/place
Ideally suited for reflecting and water sports, rather not for hiking

Joel is super nice and a very good professor, despite the relaxed atmosphere he manages to push students gently but firmly.
Quality of teaching / language progress
Due to Covid-19 we were only 4 students and had a super intense course.
Accommodation
Would have been nice to have a little more info about the accommodation before departure. The host family was incredibly kind and I was treated to many meals despite not having booked any.

Because of Covid, there was one-to-one lessons with 2 school hours a day. In the other two hours I was given appropriate grammatical exercises. I found everything very good.

It was just one professor and there were only 3 students during my week there. The other too students were way more advanced than me so he had to teach me separately. Our time was one on one. Joel is an excellent professor and I would highly recommend him. He had a good grasp on what I needed and the pace was good to prevent me from getting frustrated. For a small school, it was very nice.
Accommodation
Good location. Owner was very nice. The room itself was small and basic but satisfactory.

Positive aspects of school
The teachers were very nice and inspiring. They all had a very positive attitude, were very helpful and encouraged the students in the learning process. They made the classes very interactive, fun and always tried to incorporate fun games and recent and relevant topics for discussion. I always looked forward to going to the classes.
Insider tips about what future students should not miss
Especially if you visit Guadeloupe in high season, try to arrange a rental car as soon as possible in order to explore the island after class and especially during the weekends. Be aware that the public transport system is not very convenient, particularly on the weekend. If you want to visit popular tourist destinations like Petite Terre, get your tickets as soon as possible, because only a limited number of visitors are allowed per day and tours tend to sell out.
Other comments
Judging from the discription on the school's website I had expected that the school would organise more social activities and opportunities to explore the island and local culture. But unfortunately while I was there, there were no activities organised by the school and everything was done at the students' own initiative. I found this a pity, since everything was new for the students, who had to figure out everything by themselves while the staff would have more knowledge on all of these things.

Very relaxed atmosphere with great local teachers who also joined us occasionally for dinners etc. The school is very small, which comes with the benefit of very small groups (2-4 students at the time when I was there).
Insider tips about what future students should not miss
While I was staying in Saint Francois (~20 min. by car from Sainte Anne), the school's primary homestay option is located approx. 10 min. walking distance on a hillside above the school and was very much recommended by other students.
