Additional information
Positive aspects of school
Very nice building, well equipped and with a good learning atmosphere and break rooms. Great teaching staff with a high standard and always friendly.
Negative aspects
Only the audio equipment in the classrooms was somewhat inadequate, as the teachers themselves had to ensure that the audio texts were loud enough and not all of them had good speakers with them.
Insider tips about what future students should not miss
The history of fans in Valencia and the fan museum in Aldaia would be a good addition
Other comments
All in all, just great!
City/place
Definitely worth seeing and very suitable for practising Spanish. Everyone made an effort to speak slowly as soon as they realised that you were a foreigner. The city offers so many sights, shopping opportunities and a great beach, which is very easy to reach by tram. The weather in April was fantastic and I felt very at home.
Quality of teaching / language progress
Very intensive and with a lot of learning content, 4 hours of lessons with book and one hour of culture class on topics typical of the country with lots of conversation
Accommodation
The family was super nice and open-minded, and there was always delicious, warmly cooked food for dinner. It was a good mix of independent living and communal dinners - I was given a lot of freedom. Only the distance to the school was a bit far and getting home between the end of lessons and the school's evening activities or in the evening after the activities was a bit of a hassle.

Additional information
Positive aspects of school
A wide range of leisure activities as well as a free excursion on the bank holiday! All staff are very friendly and happy to help with questions
Negative aspects
The competence of the teachers varied. There were teachers who did not have a "good control" of the class. As a result, there were distractions and disruptions.
Other comments
it would be helpful to offer courses for over 50 year olds
City/place
Valencia is a beautiful and interesting city with many facets and a varied environment.

Positive aspects of school
Everything. Every single teacher was great, everything was tightly organised. Really great!
Negative aspects
There was nothing to criticise about the school!
City/place
High quality of life, good experience to travel there with children. Up to 13 years of age, many entries are free of charge.

Super
Accommodation
Very welcoming, room was a bit small for both of us, furnishings could have been more loving (e.g. reading lamp on the top bunk), Isabel is a very lovely person.

Negative aspects
No activities in evenings. No outdoor space. No daily sporting activities. Not at all as advertised on the website. We regret booking. Our daughter left one week early. We nearly chose Enforex and we now wish we had booked with them. International House used to have a good reputation. Not any more.
City/place
It's a great location. That is why we chose it.

Additional information
Positive aspects of school

Negative aspects

Beach, Panorama restaurant with super beach and sea view
Other comments
They all put in a lot of effort and are very, very friendly. All the teachers I had were very good, Maria José was absolutely outstanding (in private lessons).
City/place
Top, happy to come back!
Quality of teaching / language progress
Exhausting, because there was a grammar lesson at 08:00 in the morning. This lesson was stupid, just doing cloze texts, getting it corrected back, no lessons in the sense of teaching. The rest of the lessons were very good.
Accommodation
Overall good, breakfast Spanish meager, unfortunately smoker household, you could smell that everywhere, room with a lot of storage space, roller shutter was broken, a little cold in the room.

Helpfulness, friendliness of the teachers
Negative aspects
Groups that were too large (up to 12) in rooms that were too small. A lot of young people who only had a limited desire to learn, did not wear their mask properly and sometimes disturbed the class. Excursions were only partly organized.

Other comments
better organization of the residences and friendlier treatment of the students (especially reception staff and cleaning staff)
City/place
Nightlife is absolutely amazing in Valencia (the best clubs are MYA and Marina Beach Club).
Quality of teaching / language progress
Basically a great school, lessons (depending on the teacher) top. Unfortunately, I have to rate the organization as poor, as the school management and the reception team unfortunately did worse, lack of friendliness if you had a concern or needed something. e.g. my air conditioning was not repaired for 3 months (in the months of June and July) only after asking 10 times something happened. Generally not very friendly and rather annoyed.
Accommodation
The accommodation is super clean, modern and is located in the heart of Valencia. However, I also have something to complain about with the organization of the residence. The roof terrace, which is advertised in a big way, was completely locked in 2 months where I was there without any reason. Air conditioning systems by no means all work. Sometimes the school rules are somewhat strict. You feel as if you are being watched all the time.
