Too many different teachers. I found that having new teachers each week was not conducive to continuity of learning.

Single apartment- no meals

Personal attention, great activities. Very dedicated headmaster, helpful secretary and nice teachers. I was in Elena's class. She is an absolute top professional. Encouraging and challenging, lessons with lots of additional information about the region.

Class size may consist of more than 4-6 pupils.

Excursions to the surrounding area (Matera, Locorotondo etc.)

Very centrally located. Good teaching. Dedicated staff.

Small, appealing village. Clearly laid out, great gastronomy.

We had good team spirit in the group. (A matter of luck) But I think it is an advantage when "older semesters" are assigned together.

Very nice people in the school and on the excursions, we laughed a lot! Speaking Italian in the afternoon activities also helped a lot with learning. Alberobello is easy to reach by public transport and the school is within walking distance if you have accommodation in the town. We would love to come back!

I highly recommend the combination with activities in the afternoon, which is particularly beneficial for speaking and listening comprehension. We had very nice hiking destinations and very friendly and patient guides.

Alberobello is a city from a fairy tale, a magical place

Excellent school with a fantastic attitude towards students, the staff was friendly and helpful, they helped with everything. The lessons were easy, a lot of useful information, games. Daily events after the lessons, the director took into account the wishes of students, which I had not experienced in any school before - for two weeks we lived as a friendly company with common interests. There was a feeling that we came to visit our best friends, they were waiting for us and prepared an excellent and exciting program. I am very pleased that I chose this school. Puglia is beautiful, Alberobello is a fabulous city and the school deserves the highest praise. I recommend the choice for learning Italian in an excellent friendly school with interesting excursions.

I stayed at the Silvia Hotel with delicious breakfasts in an unusually clean room. Close enough to the school and at the beginning of the historical center near the beautiful church and Trullo Savrano. The city is small and from the hotel all the sights are quite accessible by walking without transport.
