Location: Al Thuraya Arabic Language Center Amman is located in the bustling capital city of Jordan, Amman. In a city steeped in history, students have much to see and do in and around the school. The Al Thuraya Arabic Language Center is in the Swaifyeh area, an up-market neighbourhood of the city, and has shops, eateries, restaurants and several sites of interest nearby. Such sites of interest within walking distance of the school include the Jordan National Gallery of Fine Arts, Zahran Park and Zahran Palace.

Course selection: Courses run from Monday to Thursday, with optional Saturday lessons of conversation also available. Programmes available include General Arabic and Business Arabic. Both courses are suitable for students from beginner levels and above. Each programme includes some excursions and trips outside of the classroom to places such as shopping centres and local historical sites. Private lessons are available independently or in conjunction with any other course.

Social and cultural: Amman has a great history which blends Arabic and Roman cultures, ensuring many diverse sites and places of interest. In the city, students may visit anything from the King Abdullah I Mosque to the Roman Temple of Hercules or the 2nd-century Roman Theatre. The Al Thuraya Arabic Language Center regularly takes students on excursions and is happy to assist with any information required to make the most of time spent in Amman.

Course material
Generally course material has to be purchased by the student. The costs of course material will be approximately 50 US$ per course level.
Individual classes
Single individual lessons of tuition can be reserved at 35 US$. The combination of group and individual lessons is highly recommended. Individual lessons will encourage you to actively speak the foreign language and will offer you the opportunity to discuss individual problems and weaknesses.
