Location: Embassy Junior Centre (EC) New York is located in the cosmopolitan and one-of-a-kind city of New York, USA. Housed within Long Island University, in Brooklyn, one subway ride from Manhattan, the school has a perfect location for students wanting to see the "Big Apple" whilst reaching their language goals. Junior students receive an eye-opening opportunity to take part in a well structured and exciting summer programme from one of the world's most infamous cities.

Course selection: Course selection with Embassy Junior Centre (EC) New York is fantastic for junior students, offering a fully immersive English Language Summer experience, like no other. All courses are inclusive of 20 weekly lessons, afternoon and evening activities, almost daily half-day trips around the city's sites, and 1 full-day excursion per week, in addition to all meals and accommodation. Full-day trips include Coney Island, Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, Metropolitan Museum of Art, shopping at Empire outlets and Macy's 34th Street. Half-day excursions may take students to explore such exciting places as the Bronx Zoo, Madame Tussauds, Broadway show and the Guggenheim Museum.
School facilities: The facilities of the school are fantastic, offering everything a junior student may need to have a memorable time whilst reaching their language goals. There are communal lounge areas, WIFI, a large park close by for games and activities, a large self-service dining hall in the residential area, and spacious classrooms based on campus.
Accommodation: Accommodation is in residence, less than a 5-minute walk from the central LIU Brooklyn campus. Room types consist of Standard triple rooms, adjoining twin or triple rooms with shared en-suites, and Quad en-suite rooms. Each room comes with a wardrobe, desk and WIFI so students can remain in contact with family, friends and guardians, whenever they feel necessary. All communal facilities are cleaned daily. Towels and washcloths are provided.

This course consists of 20 lessons per week and accommodation at Long Island University in a single, twin or triple standard room or double, triple or quad room with ensuite. This will be decided closer to the time and on availability. This option is with full board served in an on-site canteen and packed lunch at the weekend. The room has a wardrobe, a desk, a chair and are equipped with air-conditioning with linen changed weekly. Students are responsible for keeping their own space clean and tidy, whilst the communal facilities, including the bathroom, are cleaned daily. There are laundry facilities in the residence building and both wash clothes and towels are provided.
There are afternoon and evening activities daily, one full-day excursion and an optional half-day excursion.
The activities may be on-site or near to the centre and are likely to involve sport, drama or an evening activity. Options for these 3 types are below:
Sports such as football, mini Olympics, volleyball and basketball.
Drama and performance activities such as scavenger hunts and drama workshops.
Evening activities such as karaoke, talent show and team games.
