Location: The school is to the far east of Los Angeles, at the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains. The school is within the Citrus College building, which is next to Azusa Pacific University. The college is in the city of Glendora, and offers a great combination of suburban comfort and safety along with access to all of the attractions and glamour of Los Angeles. Around the college is a performing arts centre, lots of commercial restaurants, shops and grocery stores.
Moving around the area: There is a light rail station, 10 minutes from the college. This is on the gold line, which goes all the way to downtown Los Angeles. This train ride would take around 45 minutes. Once in downtown Los Angeles, it is easy to visit all the attractions there including the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, The Getty and Hollywood, by using the public transportation links in the city. There are also lots of bus routes around the college that connect to nearby cities.
Course structure: FLS provides students with a range of different English courses. For those wanting to learn the basics of the language there are general courses in an array of options. The school has exam courses to prepare students for the Cambridge, IELTS or SAT exams. There is a high school completion course and an Academic English programme for students interested in further education.

An American high school diploma can provide so many opportunities! But many international students don’t have the time or resources to attend a U.S. high school and are looking for alternatives.
There are also students who want to add a diploma from the U.S. to their current redentials. Now, at FLS, students can earn high school credit, complete their high school studies and earn their diploma. FLS and Penn Foster High School have joined forces to offer this program specially designed to put students on the track to high school success.
Penn Foster is a fully accredited school founded in 1890. Their diploma is accredited and accepted by colleges and universities across the United States. For two hours each day, students in the High School Completion program work with our supportive teaching staff and follow a customized curriculum to meet the exact requirements needed to complete their diploma.
