Extensive General Spanish courses are available over a variety of schedules along with courses for the CCSE Spanish citizen exam and the DELE exam. The school also provides English courses available to all levels. We aim to enable you to express yourself as quickly as possible: that’s why we place so much emphasis on spoken communication in our intensive Spanish course. Being able to speak a language and make others understand you is crucial: what good is learning grammar if you can’t use it when it’s time to talk? And learning Spanish doesn’t happen only in the classroom. Sometimes we go out to learn on the street. For example, we often visit Valencia Central Market where we study food vocabulary in a more practical setting, or we go on walks around the city centre.
This course also meets the requirements for 1-year student visa applications.

This course combines 20 group lessons with 5 individual lessons per week. Individual lessons are a great way to enhance your learning experience and progress more quickly.
A super-intensive course is an intensive Spanish course plus private classes. You can use your private classes to perfect what you have learnt in your group lessons or to focus on certain aspects of the language such as specific vocabulary, or a particular topic or work to improve your overall fluency.

This course is great for long-term students. Lessons take place 2 days per week.
We want you to be able to express yourself in Spanish as quickly as possible: that’s why we place so much emphasis on spoken communication. All teachers are qualified DELE examiners and experienced in preparing students for the exam.
The exam fee is between EUR 108 and EUR 220 depending on the level.

“Location, helpful staff (I mostly communicated with Pablo) and 1st day of school welcoming lunch with two different types of paella.
I was lucky to have 2 completely different weeks: for the 1st week we were two people in the class for 3 days and alone for the rest of the week. For the second week there were 6 students in the class. Met with 4 different teachers. I am grateful for the response to my wishes.”

- Is it really necessary to buy 2 books for 45€ if you stay less than 4 weeks?
not like promised online:
- there was only 1 activity per week (and no city tour or welcome lunch as promised online)
- I was told the homestay's address very late and there was another (nice) person from my home country (but it said online this wouldn't happen, so less opportunity to talk Spanish)

“Classrooms are a bit cramped or the group was large. But usually not everyone was there. The students all left as quickly as possible at 1 p.m. I would have liked to have lingered around, asked this and that, stood around after the course. A large number of the students are currently from Russia, so there wasn't much of a mix from other countries. ”

Other comments Sympathetic school. In my month there was only one social activity (paella meal). I didn't mind. Perhaps young people think that is not enough.

Quality of teaching / language progress: We were generally very satisfied with our lessons. Delighted that we could have semi-private lessons allowing us to proceed at speed that we were capable of.
Other comments I appreciated the managements flexibility - making adjustments in the light of sound issues due to Las Fallas.

Other comments It was a really great experience and I notice a significant change in the classroom. Through this experience I got to know a lot of new people from all over the world and I also got more self-confident. Especially speaking Spanish is a lot easier for me. Really recommendable!

If you choose a host family, you will have full immersion in the Spanish language, as you will then be able to practise Spanish with the local family over breakfast and/or dinner! Host families are of very good quality at Route 66.
If you opt for a shared flat, you will have more time to yourself and can do more of your own planning, as no meals are included. Shared flats score slightly lower than host families at Route 66.
All Route 66 accommodations are between 13-30 minutes' walk from the school, so you do not need to use public transport for this.
