Location: The Abbey College is an educational institute located close to the quaint English town of Malvern, Worcestershire, England. The school is housed in the village of Malvern Wells, in Greater Malvern, on a large 70-acre campus. The surrounding area is well known for its natural beauty, with attractions such as the Malvern Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the Three Countries Showground, Great Malvern Priory, and Priory Park, all just a short journey away via taxi or public transport. A traditional boarding school facility, The Abbey College in Malvern has over 100 years of history at its current location.
Course selection: The school offers several English courses for Younger Learners studying at various levels of the English educational system (GCSE, A-level, University entry), over various schedules and course durations, during the summer months. Age restrictions do apply.

It includes up to 9 subjects, with English lessons provided when necessary. Core subjects: English, Maths, Computer Science and Global Citizenship. Other subjects to choose from: Biology, Business Studies, Chemistry, Economics, Enterprise, English Literature, French, German and Physics.

This course gives students an opportunity to experience the British education system and life within a boarding school in the UK. Students can join Abbey College for two weeks or longer to study a range of academic subjects in line with British curricula. Alongside other academic subjects, English language lessons are provided.
Each student’s timetable will be tailored to suit their academic needs. Weekly teachers’ meetings enable teachers to monitor the progress of every student and to decide whether a change of level is necessary. The college can provide preparation for students wishing to take exams, such as IELTS or Cambridge, and can assist students with booking their tests.
Students will be mixed in classes with students on academic courses and follow the same activity and excursion plan offered to academic students. Homework is set during weekdays for evening study. All students are encouraged to make full use of college facilities, including sports and activities, and to mix with our other students.
All students receive an Abbey College certificate and report at the end of the course. Many countries will give full credit to students studying this course when they return home and re-join their own educational system.
This course is available for students with at least a pre-intermediate level of English.

Our 70-acre campus in central England is ideal for holiday courses as it has everything a student needs in one of the safest locations in the country. All students receive over 16 hours per week of general English tuition from qualified EFL course teachers. The exciting and varied vacation course programme ensures students have something to do from when they wake up until they go to bed.
It is our intention to provide every student attending our holiday courses with everything essential to their stay on-campus in one package price. We take care of students from the moment of arrival to the moment of departure. Some additional options are available which do cost extra, such as room upgrades, private lessons and alternative excursions.

Excursions:
Excursions are prepared and supervised by our staff with those under 16 always being accompanied. Students receive a briefing from teachers during the week about the cities they will visit. In addition to the included excursions on Wednesdays and Saturdays, optional excursions are offered on Sundays for an additional charge.
