Getting around the area: Leeds rests in the North of England, 2 and a half hours on the train from London. Leeds School of English is 20 minute from the main railway station with connections to the capital as well as regular trains to nearby cities such as Manchester and Liverpool.
School location: The school is to the West of the city, a 15 minute walk to the centre, where students can find everything they would need for a stay in England. A great way to learn a language is to watch TV programmes or films in the language and the UK is infamous for its daily soaps. One of these is Emmerdale, which is set in a small Yorkshire town, and just up from the school is the Emmerdale Studio Experience, for anyone who gets hooked on one of the most well known soaps in England. Leeds has an energetic night scene, most of which takes place in The Calls neighbourhood, with bars and live music venues, some of which are found amongst railway arches.

Course structure: The school offers a Junior package programme in the summer months. The programme takes place in a private school, Fulneck School, just 20 minutes from the city centre of Leeds.
