How our students rated their experience in Vancouver
What our students said about Vancouver
Vancouver is a beautiful city, you can experience a lot and get to know many cultures. Food prices are relatively expensive compared to Europe. You shouldn't visit China Town in the evening because the main street is full of homeless people with tents. People are relatively open and sometimes approach you out of the blue and ask you how you are. You can also just take the bus to Whistler without any problems.
Germany
Vancouver is a nice city to visit, but it's more about the nature in the surrounding that make it a special place. You can be at first surprised by the amount of homeless in downtown. And living there is a bit expensive.
Anytime again. I don't know any city that combines so many different things: internationality, nature, big city, hiking, skiing, water sports, sightseeing, culture, art ....
Germany
Great city, great surroundings, very friendly people, it’s really worth going there.
Germany
Beautiful city, lots to do but in my opinion there is a lack of culture.
Canada
Vancouver is a city of exchanges and is safe for young people

Good location, and in general it was a good teaching.
5 October 2023
Course: General English - Intensive Program - 8 weeks
Student age: 30 years
I particularly liked the location of the school. It is very central and easy to reach. The school also offers free activities several times a week. I chose this school again because I had a great experience with it a few years ago. I was there for 2.5 weeks and had great teachers. My English improved a lot during that time and the lessons were fun. This time, too, I had two great teachers who were attentive to the students and provided assistance. Overall, you get a warm welcome at the school and the staff are friendly and helpful.
10 June 2023
Course: Intensive 30 - 2 weeks
Student age: 36 years
In the school, consideration is given to the individual strengths and weaknesses of the students. This enabled me to improve in the areas relevant to me. The small class size has made a decisive contribution to my progress and I would definitely visit the school again. To get the best experience, you should take part in some activities, especially at the beginning. The organisation of the language course was very quick and straightforward and if any questions arose, I always received an answer very promptly.

Administration, teachers, syllabus, the schedule, location of the school and everything.
I really liked the GRADUATION DAY! It really works! Students love to see their classmates getting their Certificates.
Suggestion: Could it be possible to open Courses of Canadian Culture every month?
So students can practice pronunciation, besides learning grammar and vocabulary.
This is because most older people have 2 or 3 week vacation a year.

The teachers were very kind, they spoke clearly, they were also very dynamic. The topics the teachers used were very useful and I learned a lot. I also loved the way I was welcomed, the staff were so nice and I really felt as if I was already studying there for a long time ago, because of the good vibe I felt. It was a very nice experience
It would be nice that in the graduation day they would hire a professional photographer, because I missed a nice memory of that day
