Location: The school building is located in the city centre of Cuenca. It is close to the Barranco River, the Planetarium and a short walk from the Alejandro Serrano Stadium. There are restaurants, bars and shops all around the area, and the school is just off a main road within the city.
Getting around: Cuenca is a small city, and is very navigable by foot. The school is a prime spot to explore the city. There are an array of bus stops for moving around the outskirts of the city to nearby boroughs. Cuenca has a tram system, and the closest tram station is 10 minutes from COINED.
Main attractions: The Catedral de la Inmaculada Concepción, the Calderon Park and the Old Cathedral of Cuenca are all found in the heart of the city, a 10-minute walk from the school. The Pumapungo Museum is to the south west of Cuenca, just over 10 minutes by foot from COINED. There is a fantastic viewpoint overlooking the city at Avenida Mirador de Turi, which is an hour walk from the school.
