Course selection: Course selection includes tailor-made courses for students in Business, English for Work, Exam Preparation (FCE, CAE, CPE, IELTS), English in the City and Adult Summer Camps, in addition to Academic Semester or year programmes. For all students aged 30+, several courses are available to more senior students exclusively, ensuring that all students find comfort and motivation within their learning environments. Junior Summer Camps are accessible via a range of facilities and schools spread throughout the city.

With the General Course at EC English’s academy, you’ll come in for 20 dynamic classes every week (15 hours in total). Groups are available from the Beginner level all the way up to the Advanced levels, and your group placement will be determined by a test before you get started.
Having 15 hours of study per week is ideal, as it’s more than enough to make considerable progress in a relatively short period of time, but also gives you the chance to take in the world-famous city of London, and enjoy everything that it has to offer residents. For those who are interested, the course also includes complementary workshops for developing your CV in English, or improving specific skills such as pronunciation.

Students under 18 must book homestay, a return airport transfer and provide a parental consent form.
High season supplement not applicable to bookings longer than 12 weeks.
Additional fees:
- Bank transfer fee: GBP 18.
- Student insurance (optional): GBP 10 per week. (Only applicable up to age 69).
- Course material is GBP 7 per week (maximum GBP 56).

Description of Local Area
The iQ Shoreditch building is located just a couple of minutes from the Tube at Old Street in Shoreditch. The area is famous for its pop-up events, restaurants, markets and nightlife and its mix of pop up bars in vacant petrol stations, blues bars, rooftop bars, late-night clubs and speakeasy bars.
You are only a short walk away from the action, including the world-famous Brick Lane, with London’s biggest selection of curry and pop up restaurants.
Description of Accommodation
These refurbished self-contained rooms give you everything you need, with a small double bed, lots of storage, coffee table and comfy seating, wooden floors and a half-width floor-to-ceiling window for lots of natural light. They also include the use of the building’s onsite gym, laundry and social spaces.
Each studio consists of a small double bed, a fully equipped kitchenette, and a desk and light. There is free Wi-Fi in every room. There is a private bathroom.
Miscellaneous - Utility bills are included.

- Kitchen utensils are provided (cutlery, plates, bowls, glasses, pans, etc.). Students who book studio can have also access to the communal kitchen.

Will Wyatt Court has gone through an extensive refurbishment to modernise the site creating new amenities from games and cinema rooms to study spaces and newly refurbished rooms with a fresh décor, a small double bed with underbed storage, plus a study area and USB charging points. The shared kitchen and living area is well equipped with sofas and a TV. You’ll also have everything you need to cook and eat with.
