Location: Guadalmina Escuela de Idiomas is located in San Pedro de Alcántara, in the province of Malaga, Andalucia, in southern Spain. The school is housed in the Commercial Centre of Guadalmina, close to the Guadalmina Golf club and is only 5-minutes from the beach. The town is in an excellent location, a 15-minute drive from the beautiful beachside promenade of San Pedro, Puerto Banus, famous for its nightlife and shopping, and Marbella, a beautiful beachside destination, where relaxation is paramount.
Course selection: The school has a variety of courses over a selection of schedules, ranging from a few lessons per week up to more intensive programmes of 8 hours per week. Lessons are given in groups, privately or semi-privately, depending on the necessities of each student. DELE Exam Preparation programmes are also available.
Methodology: The methods behind the teachings of the school take a communicative and task-based approach, incorporating all the linguistic skills (reading, writing, listening, speaking) necessary, for comprehension of and communication in Spanish. Total immersion in Spanish communications is seen as the key to ensuring students reach their language goals with Spanish being the only spoken language in the classroom.
Social and Cultural: Guadalmina Escuela de Idiomas offers a wide range of leisure activities and excursions, designed to assist students in fulfilling their language goals whilst having an excellent time doing so! Excursions and activities range from guided tours of museums and towns in the local area to beach visits, tapas nights, days out on hiking trails and more.
