Location: ILSC Language School is within Downtown Montreal. This neighbourhood is in the heart of the city, and is a blend of office blocks, shopping options and student hangouts. The school itself is on the edge of Downtown Montreal, close to restaurants, stores and cafes.
Getting around: A short walk from the school are a selection of bus stations that stretch across the city. The McGill Metro Station is the closest one to the school, less than 5 minutes by foot. This is on the Line One metro service. ILSC Language School is a 13-walk from the Gare Centrale Train Station, which is the main station of the city.

Course structure: ILSC Language school in Montreal offers classes in English and French. Skills Plus is designed for students aged 13-17 years old who are at an intermediate level of English. Skills Plus classes are focused on learning topics that are relevant, relatable, and interesting to teens. In addition to the Skills Plus classes, the Skills Plus option includes two activities each week related to the study topic.
In our Residential Junior summer camp program at McGill, the Skills Plus class option in 2024 is Drama and Performance (Level: Beginner 4+) and is available in English.
The Drama and Performance class introduces students to the world of English theatre and performance arts and improves their English communication skills through acting and scriptwriting.
Students at the Beginner 4 level or higher can opt to replace their English class with the Drama and Performance class - discover the world of English theatre and performance arts and improve your English communication skills through acting and scriptwriting.

1 - Choose an ILSC campus in one of 3 different cities in Canada. Options include the world-class cities of Vancouver, Toronto and Montréal. Then take ILSC online language test and get assessed for your current language level - this will set your University Pathway program study length.
2 - Study English to reach the entry level required by your desired partner school, and prepare for a successful post-secondary journey with essential skills preparation, such as lecture comprehension, note-taking, research, and academic discussion.
3 - Apply to one of our 160+ partner schools with your ILSC letter of acceptance, and the support of academic counsellors to help guide you in your career and education goals.
4 - Transfer seamlessly without worrying about IELTS or TOEFL tests. Successful graduates of ILSC’s University Pathway program will be able to enter directly into their chosen partner school once they have completed the University Pathway program.

ILSC High School Program: Individual Credits is a flexible program that allows you to target and complete one, two or more high school credits. Students age 16+ can study online or in class and combine their credits with ILSC English for Academic Purposes or ESL-High School Bridge. Students age 12-15 can take the in-class program in Toronto and combine their high school credit course(s) with ILSC’s ESL-High School Bridge classes.
