The 6-week full-time Business English courses are very practical and focus on commonly used English and communication skills at work.
Topics covered include business etiquette in different cultures, interview techniques, meetings and telephone skills. By the end of the course, students will be able to deliver presentations with confidence.
B2 First (FCE-First Certificate in English) covers the four main language skills – reading, (+ use of English) writing, listening and speaking. Materials are taken from real life sources, including published personal experiences, business meetings and informal/formal writings.
NZLC Cambridge B2 First (FCE) courses prepare students with the language and skills they need to sit the exam once their course is finished.
NZLC C1 Advanced (CAE) courses prepare students with the language and skills they need to sit the exam once their course is finished.
Lessons are organised into A and B variants, with Reading and Writing preparation taking priority in A, and Listening and Speaking in B.
The course also includes additional study support and materials, regular progress tests and feedback.
