By combining 20 group lessons weekly with 5 private lessons, students find that they get the best of both learning formats. In group lessons, which are typically held in the morning, students benefit from group interaction which particularly helps build conversation skills in addition to all the other skills (reading, listening, speaking, writing, and grammar). After lunch, Combo Course students take an intensive one-to-one lesson. Being a private class, students can focus on their specific needs such as Business English, Test Preparation (TOEFL, TOEIC, IELTS, or Cambridge), pronunciation, or Academic English. The private teacher conducts a needs assessment in the first class and customizes lessons and assignments according to the student’s needs and objectives.
