Positive aspects of school

It is very close to the dormitory and there is a supermarket nearby, so it is not difficult to find it, and wherever you go, you easily take bus or taxi. Also important streets like downtown & rainbow is near.

Negative aspects

Overall, I'm satisfied, but teachers were changed way too much therefore the teaching quality was not consistent and vary depending on the teachers. Because of this, it seems unprofessional.

It was good to see that all the people in the academy, including the managers, were very kind, helpful, and always bright.

Amman is an important city, so all infrastructure is well equipped, so it will be easy for anyone to come and live.

I hope teachers do not change too often and the content of the class will be a little more focused on a daily life.

Accommodation

The house was spacious and well-equipped. Safe location and hot water was working well. I was very satisfied with this accommodation.

All the staff at the school were helpful and flexible. There was delicious food at lunchtime. The teachers were well prepared and the lessons were well coordinated.

I didn't check out the nightlife, but it's an interesting city with historical sites worth seeing.

Great atmosphere, good teachers, fast progress in learning the language, very flexible and helpful regarding timetables, very supportive in school related and unrelated issues (housing, etc.), activities were well organized, cheap but tasty and fresh lunch everyday. I will go again.

The climate: it was cold therefore only 2 stars. Climate outside is not a problem, the problem is that it is also very cold inside. Sometimes colder than outside.

We had an apartment at the language school. We have not stayed with a family. The apartment was big enough and clean. The apartment was very cold in the winter. There are two gas heaters, but they do not have to be on for long because of carbon monoxide. We have hardly been in the apartment because it was too cold and uncomfortable, we only slept there.

Teachers are very friendly, and the coordinators in the office are always available for questions and suggestions.

Insider tips about what future students should not miss

Plan more days for things like Petra, Wadi Rum or Wadi Dana. Possibly organize it yourself. Jett drives to pretty much everything, including the border to Palestine/Israel (11 JOD to King Hussein Bridge and then by separate shuttle which costs 17 JOD per person including 1 luggage, 10 JOD when leaving the country!). You can eat pretty well almost everywhere in Amman. On weekdays you can have a relatively good and cheap lunch at school.

Unfortunately, there are few public transports and they are poorly signposted or hardly understandable for foreigners
