Positive aspects of school
Teachers and their methodology. They are great professionals, always attentive and trying to help students with everything they need. They make really clear and entertaining explanations. The classes are well distributed during the week. They combine classes, activities and funny games that deal with different aspects of the language (oral and written skills) which is really helpful to learn English without even realizing. It is a different methodology from what I have seen in Spain (where it is more difficult to learn English). Also, I like the fact that the teachers were explaining real uses of English for real life and they motivate students to speak.
Insider tips about what future students should not miss
I studied for a month and a half. I recommend to stay longer than that (if possible). It is amazing how much you can learn while you live there (in California the accent is quite clear and they are easy to understand) and you attend a good school. I moved up one level in just 6 weeks without much effort (which would have taken me months in Spain), so a longer stay would be ideal.
But even if you don't have that much time, I still recommend Eurocentres in San Diego. I met students that were there just for 2 weeks and they improved quite a lot too.
Other comments
The school is fantastic and the staff is incredibly friendly, always ready to help or give advice (which is especially important at the beginning when you don't know anybody). The teachers are really good and the classes are nice, enjoyable and actually funny (frequent activities and games to deepen our learning).

Insider tips about what future students should not miss
Ask more, and don't be shy. There were lots of things that you have to experience yourself, because otherwise nobody will tell you about them. For example thin walls in the house; the walls were made of cardboard, and we heard each whisper from our neighbors's appartment, it is not funny at all, but you can live with that.
