Positive aspects of school
Standard of teaching was great, the textbook used was useful. Stammtisch (after class activities) was useful. Homestay was superb.
Negative aspects
Initial placement interview placed me 2 courses below where I should've been. Perhaps a better system would be better. Free time activities were not as good as expected, the Stammtisch was poorly attended and lots of people there weren't speaking in German, other activities were cancelled at short notice.
Accommodation
Host was super welcoming and extremely kind! Always wanting to help and willing to have a chat in German. Extremely patient.

Loved Berlin. Weather was crazy but oh well. Amazing city, loads to do, very friendly. Subway's and transport in general isn't very friendly in terms of understanding what ticket you need to buy but in general great experience.

Great accommodation on Schwedter Str., wonderful rooms, large, bathtub, kitchen. Just the cleaners aren't very good, they don't clean very well.

The food wasn't good. Only water to drink and the same to eat many times.

The supervisors have to be more attentive to the boys when they play, especially during football and basketball, since there are bad guys who hurt the little ones.

Home stay is a good idea to immerse ourselves in a German speaking environment especially if the host is really supportive and happy to involve language students in her/his social life. I am lucky to have a fantastic home stay experience.
