Positive aspects of school
Level of teachers, interestingly conducted lessons. The school makes every effort to ensure that each student is placed in a group appropriate to their level and subject area.
Negative aspects
Initially, I was overcharged for the course, not according to the price list on the school's website. Neither the school nor the intermediary company noticed this error, and the intermediary treated my explanation as an attempt to trick them into lowering the price.
City/place
A city of magnificent architecture, superbly designed green spaces, rich museum collections - extremely inspiring.
Response from school
Thanks so much for the review.

City/place
New York is a city we have visited often is a truly fascinating
Quality of teaching / language progress
Unfortunately, of the two weeks scheduled and paid for Summer Plus course the school did only one (perhaps due to lack of students or teachers who knows?) diverting me the second week without any notice to another course not specifically for teens. So the first week I really liked the teacher the activities done and also the class. The second the course was more challenging and the class was mainly adults so let's say I liked it a lot less as it was not very suitable for my age.

Teacher's Philip competence.
Negative aspects
The afternoon activities (Communication Workshops): although the teacher prepared the activities well to make them dynamic, I was placed in an advanced class and took minimal advantage of it, as it was challenging to understand the dialogues.
City/place
The city is very attractive for the cultural activities it provides, but, except for visiting parks and a few other tourist attractions, many activities can be costly and ends up limiting our participation (entrance fees to museums and theaters without discount for foreign students is frustrating).

It's very convenient, as Grand Central Station is within walking distance. The school has two offices. A main office has a student room and PCs though, another has less facilities. You can't choose which building you study in. It's totally up to your luck.

There are so many things to see in New York that it is difficult to quote only 1 thing. I would say the rooftop bar at 230-fifth.

The shool is very well located. The classrooms are fine. However, the accommodation price is a bit high even if it is quite big and well located (south of Harlem in my case). The furniture was damaged in my flat and there were only few kitchen utensils.

If you're not in the right level (at least if the level is too low) you have to ask the school staff to go up a level. I think the teacher should give you a sign about that, it shouldn't just be up to you. I paid a lot of money and wasted two whole weeks.

The class had mixed too many people in the sense that he also had Korean / Japanese who did not understand English language so much and it meant a drawback for students who were advanced, and however the ones that had good language properties, and because my class was a Conversation one we were eventually forced to speak and it was such an uncomfortable nuisance! Then I attended a month of Steps on Broadway dance school, and I loved her from the very first moment! Very ighly trained and very professional teachers, and all the classes very punctual according to the timetables that are in the special booklets! I attended also the Jazz and Contemporary dance class and I highly recommend it to all! I hope to return there one day, it was really such a great experience and an excellent choice!

The teachers must be patient if some Asian student has a terrible pronunciation of words in English but for the rest this school give you a very good chance, that is to be in contact with people from all around the world, and of course, you can talk to them in English ... and this automatically will follow a very great improvement!
