Positive aspects of school:
I spent 2 months in Radolfzell and these months were the best of my life. At school, both the teachers and other staff were particularly helpful and nice. Classes were never boring and the teacher answered every question. After the lessons, the school organized leisure activities that were always varied and interesting. Already on the first day I found friends with whom I speak every day. Although Radolfzell is a small town, I have never been bored. You have the opportunity to bathe in Lake Constance or drive any boats, do a lot of sports, go to pubs and just shop or eat. Nevertheless, the city is safe. You can also go on a little trip to Switzerland, France, Italy or Austria because they are very close.
You should not doubt, because no matter what kind of person you are, you will enjoy this language school and city. I hope I can go back again. :)))

Additional information
Positive aspects of school:
Wonderful location in a small town on Bodensee.
Nice small size school, easy to get to know participants in many other classes.
Very friendly and helpful staff, including the cafeteria lady with her home-made cakes during the morning break and the social activity coordinators.
Insider tips about what future students should not miss:
The nearby tennis club hosts an open afternoon for visitors on Wednesdays.
Rent a bike and explore all along the Bodensee, including the lovely island of Reichenau near Konstanz.
Other comments:
My CDC guest house room needs more electricity sockets. It had just one socket, high up on the wall beside the light switch near the door, very far from the table, which is fixed in place.

One suggestion: a guided visit to the city I did not like: in a German course you expect a prepared guide and someone who speaks German, while the person who accompanied us did not speak German, and knew nothing at all about the city.

If you want to live in spartan conditions in a farm - it is your school. I would avoid the summer camps like this - there are much better programmes for the same money
Other comments:
Terrible living conditions for children, the children slept on mattresses at first, and then they were moved to a room shared by many students, none of the children had a bedsit table for personal items or a wardrobe, they simply had to throw dirty and clean clothes on the floor. The lake was very far and it was very dirty

Insider tips about what future students should not miss:
I think it is worth staying at the Guest House in Radolfzell. The homestay is much more expensive and most of them are in the outskirts and you have to depend on the bus/train timetable which is quite annoying.
Other comments:
I loved the school: their method, the content, the length of the courses, their professionalism...however, it will depend on your teacher. I was lucky to have two of the best ones but I did have some of the others whose performance was much worse.

I was in fact the only adult, which, however nice the young students were towards me, did not allow me talk much with them. I had come especially to improve my ability to speak but I've rather improved my grammar and vocabulary.

Insider tips about what future students should not miss:
Consiglio di portare/noleggiare una bici: è il mezzo più comodo, data l'abbondanza di piste ciclabili e la dimensione ridotta della città.
Other comments:
Nella Gastehaus della CDC mi sono trovata benissimo: l'alloggio è modesto, ma sufficiente; viene lasciata molta autonomia ed è un modo facile per fare "gruppo" con gli altri studenti.
