Insider tips about what future students should not miss
Learning basic grammar before attending a course would be a good idea.
Other comments
Teachers seemed to expect that we had already learned basic grammar and that our vocabulary already was sufficient for conversation and this was a beginners' class. There should be some demands for American college students to make actual progress in their language studies. The ones in my class had already had two two-week courses in Florence and Rome before the course in Naples and they started again at a beginners' level course.
