Excellent teachers, patient, interesting lessons. Co-students around my age (retirement) so we found it easier to communicate and find common topics.

Steep entrance stairs - but this is not the school's fault, that's what you should expect in the old part of Alghero.

Rent a car if you want to explore the area - and it's worth it! Public transport is out of the question

Alghero is great, but in the non-tourist season many shops and restaurants are closed, public transport is rudimentary, opening hours of monuments are short and not in sync with buses.

Both the tutor and all the other Staff in this establishment are equally and very much committed to maintaining a very good quality of teaching. Atmosphere for learning is great.

Awesome experience. The Italian lessons were taught in an original way, with humour and commitment from teachers Aurora and Eleonora. On top of that, a beautiful city and great cuisine. I learned a lot. I will come back here again.

Wonderful starting point for many activities by the sea or in nature. Certainly not a place for excessive nightlife.

Alghero is a great city to learn proper Italian. Compared to, let’s say, Sicily, the fact that they were a Spanish enclave works great as they genuinely do speak 2 languages - Sardo and very proper Italian.

The schools is very well organised and with a nice homey feel to it. The location is amazing in the city centre. And they do offer a lot of activities if you would like to join in but not in a pushy way.

I have been absolutely amazed by the quality of teaching. I have learned 4 languages mostly at university, where the structure of the learning process is very defined and progress oriented. I was very positively surprised as Maria Rosa managed to get the same level in a group of very different adults with very different goals. As for me, I have a very command of street Italian but grammar was non existent. Also the structure of 2h grammar, followed by 2h communication skills has worked great!
